Important Project Arrow PTA Announcement
District 204 Community:
The Indian Prairie Parents' Council (IPPC), in collaboration with the Project Arrow Parent Organization (PAPO) and Illinois PTA, is pleased to announce the future formation of a Project Arrow PTA in District 204. PAPO has been a keen advocate for District 204 gifted and talented students for well over a decade. Today, PAPO leaders recommend evolving into a PTA to gain organizational advantages, including the opportunity to have a voice in IPPC. IPPC meets monthly with district administrators to discuss issues affecting the education, health, and welfare of children and youth in District 204.
Join us as we consider the creation of the Indian Prairie Project Arrow PTA, enroll members, and hold officer elections during the Indian Prairie Project Arrow PTA Charter Meeting on February 12, 2009 at 7:00 pm in the Crouse Education Center, Boardrooms B5-B7, 780 Shoreline Drive, Aurora IL. Membership is open to anyone interested in the education of gifted and talented students in District 204. If you are interested in an office, review PTA officer descriptions prior to advancing your nomination from the floor during the meeting.

Fourth quarter is well under way, only a few more weeks until the end of the school year and summer vacation starts! Yippee!
First, we would like to thank all of the parents and volunteers that made the Spring Room Party a success. We will be seeking input and suggestions to continue improvements to the party planning process. We are ALWAYS open to suggestions, questions and comments.
We would also like to thank Renee Trotter for organizing the Junior Achievement program at Steck. With the help of MANY parent volunteers, our students are again able to take advantage of the many learning opportunities offered through JA.
